Tracy,I am clearly WAY behind and not sure you'll even be reading. But if you are, please know how sorry I was when I logged on today and saw Maggie's photo. I hadn't been on for a while, and want you to know how much you and Maggie helped Ajax and me over the last 4 (!) years. I hope you are well and, since I am so late in sending this, that you are now at the point when you have happy memories more often than sadness.

Oh Kathleen & Ajax,
Thank you so much for your kind, kind words....your post on Maggie's Journey ending was nice to read. Yet for some reason, no, I'm not at that point of happy memories... I miss Maggie SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much, it's probably not even normal to be this way!??! It's ironic, last night, I sat with Maggie at her grave site and chatted with her and of course, had myself all in a 'stew' again...then came in and read your comments. How strange how things go sometimes....
I'm glad Maggie and I can pay it forward to others! You are most welcome for the help with Ajax... Sorry I haven't checked in either. I miss my Tripawd family!

HUGS to you and for Maggie. She was quite a gal. Your anguish makes sense. Take your time and keep chatting with your lady. She'll help guide you.

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Wow Tracy, that is really odd how that happened last night. Maggie was sending you some signs. Maybe to come here for some {{{{{hugs}}}}?
Always remember there is no "normal" recovery. We are all different, we all cope at different speeds and there is no one way that's better than the other. No judgement here, we totally get it.
Lotsa love coming your way.

I am so sorry for your loss of Maggie. Even though I'm a new Tripawd parent and new to this site, I do understand the loss and grief you are feeling. Just know that your Maggie is happy and free to run and play and that she'll be waiting to greet you on the other side.
Many hugs....
