In Loving Memory of our precious fur kid, Maddie 3/10/04-11/28/09. She went to the Rainbow Bridge today. She is free from the pain from the cancer, she got her 4th leg back and is running & playing with her brothers Buzz & Dallas. Her Pop Pop Joe & her Uncle Bill were waiting there to greet her. Dr. Kurek from University of Penn Veterinary Hospital was wonderful and compassionate and helped Maddie go to the Rainbow Bridge with dignity. Dr. Kurek cried right along with us. Now Maddie is happy, free & her pain is gone. We will love her, remember her & miss her forever. WE LOVE YOU OUR MADDIE GIRL, Love your Mommy and Daddy…….
Kathy,
I hope you won't mind. I'm going to move this reply to the Coping with Loss forum. I don't want anyone to miss seeing it.
I am sorry sweet Maddie's time has come to join the spirit world. You are in my thoughts as struggle to accept a new life without her presence.
RIP sweet Maddie. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Kathy, Angle Maddie, and all the family,
Words cannot express how sorry we are at this moment and hope that you can accept our deepest sympathy. You fought a valiant fight and your story touched our hearts. You have again shown quality by finding the courage to let go with the dignity that Maddie deserves. It sounds as if Maddie has plenty of family to wait that joyous day of reunion to never be parted again. You really will never be withoug Maddie for all the wonderful gifts that Maddie gave will forever be with you.
You will remain in our thoughts and prayers. We are hopeful that you will find peace and will soon have the day whey you can remember Maddie with a smile and not just the canyon of a hole of loneliness.

Dear Kathy,
I have been reading all of your posts about Maddie and her journey. Maddie is such a beautiful dog and you did everything you could. She is no longer suffering and is running pain free with all of her new Tripawds friends she is meeting at the Rainbow Bridge. I am truly sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.
