So I just got the call from my mother about my beloved Reno. My quirky tabby that I rescued from the street, I watched him open his eyes and bottle fed him myself. I was barely a sophomore in high school when I decided to take him in, after my idiot cousins had orphaned him from his mother by stealing him; and I never expected that he would teach me the value of a life. When life became more real and I chose to move from NY to Arizona, leaving Reno with my mother was hard but I understood that she helped just as much as I did and that he would be our connection. A connection that Osteosarcoma is trying to take from us.
I just hope he doesn't think I abandoned him. I want him to know I love him and I'm doing what I can to make sure he's happy. All I can do is teach my mother how to use Skype so I can at least see him and make sure he's ok.
Hello and welcome to you and Reno. I’m sorry you had to join our club but am so glad you did. We are here to help any way we can. Tell us more about the situation with Reno. Are you both new to the diagnosis or has he been living with it for a while?
it sounds like your mom cares for him as deeply as you do. What a lucky guy to have two moms caring for him!
