Dear Honey's Family,
I am so truly sorry for your pain.
You were all valiant warriors, and now your hard fought battle against the cancer has ended with the release of Honey's physical body. Her spirit is free. No more fighting, just memories of the love you shared.

Honey's people asked us to post this beautiful tribute slideshow created by her human cousin. We've edited the end to include a fun clip of Honey having words with a certain cat, in a hat…

Hi Jim
Thank you for posting the slide show and for adding the video clip at the end – we love it and laugh everytime we watch it!
For everyone watching – we're sorry for the fuzzinesss of the slide show – don't know what to do about that. We'll repost if we can find a solution.
Thank you to everyone's caring words and thoughts for us. We've learned from many of you here and feel like you were on this journey with us and Honey. We don't know how we'll get along without her. . .one day at a time, I guess.
Enjoy our Honey girl – AKA Honey Monster

I am so sorry to hear about Honey. I know you will miss her tremendously, but know that she is still with you and that now she is free of pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sue and Nova
Dane Mom Sue at nova.tripawds.com and Mom to Beautiful Great Dane Queen Nova, a Blind Tripawd, who kicked cancer's butt from 11/08-03/13. The Queen is Spirit Nova now, but her legacy lives on here at Tripawds!
The slideshow was sweet and the ending with Honey "conversing" with the cat in the hat was hilarious! Thanks for sharing Honey with us.
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
That was such a beautiful tribute to Honey. The tears are just flowing right now. When Honey was barking at Dr. Seuss, my younger golden Kobe came up to my computer screen to watch - perking his head, then he put his head on my lap. It was almost like he knew....Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Such a very special honey girl indeed.
Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
I'm so sorry to read about Honey - such a beautiful girl. Please know we're sending hugs your way, and thinking of you. Heaven is indeed celebrating having such a sweet girl up there.
Hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

The video makes it obvious Honey was not 'just a dog'. She was a valued and loved family member. That is what I so love about this group. We allow them to become a part of our soul - the only way to truly enjoy them!
We will miss you Honey, but you will always live in the Tripawd hearts.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Hugapitbull, I couldn't say it better than that!
Honeygurls people, I can tell she was very loved. She just looks so sweet, so innocent. I am so so sorry for your loss. When we lost our oldest last November it took several months for the sharp part of the pain to fade. Now there are so many funny and wonderful memories that it doesn't hurt the same way when I think of her. Time does help, just day by day as you thought. Honey is in our prayers and so are you and your family.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
We wanted to share Honey with all of our Tripawds friends. Many thanks to Jim who posted the slideshow on Youtube but it was a bit fuzzy. Here is a cleaner version of the slideshow - http://gallery......#gallery - click the first one.
Enjoy our girl!

Dear Honeygurl's Family:
It is too bad that we had to meet this way losing our beautiful golden girls on the same exact day! That is amazing that we both lost our girls at the same time. I am so sorry for your loss as well. We miss our girl so much. The emptiness is so deep. We had Rosie after diagnosis for 13 months so I should be so happy about that. This was her 3rd cancer since Diagnosis. She didn't lose her battle to Oesteosarcoma we beat that one earlier this year. She developed this new cancer - HermangeoSarcoma. A very nasty, fast growing bleeding cancer that took her away so suddenly after beating all her other cancer battles. When you lose them no matter how long you had them you are never ready to say good bye. I thought we had beat that "C" word. But it came back to us in a different form.
I'm so sorry your baby went thru all of this. I feel sorry for anyone who has to endure Oesteosarcoma and Amputation or any other kind of cancer. However our dogs have all showed us how strong they can be. It is a hard road for us as caregivers. Your girl looks so sweet too.!! She endured well. Thanks for your compassion and loving thoughts to us. We hope you will feel a little better as each day passes by as well. We are trying It is so hard. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It helps to know we're not the only ones grieving.!
Best Wishes to you and your family ,
Rosie's Mom and Dad
