I am so sorry to hear about Foxy. I know what you mean that your whole family is devastated. Like yours our family has always loved our fur kids as one their siblings. Recently losing Misty has broken away another piece of our hearts. Infact today we received our Misty girls ashes. I too will never understand why we have to go through this pain, but I'm glad we had them in our lives even for just a short time.

Like others, I am also saddened and cannot really imagine your loss. That is tragic and painful. I remember Emily (and her human Deb) would often mention a nice quote about how each time we lose a dog, it leaves a part of her (him) with us. Eventually we become more dog. Obviously Emily and Deb put it better than I did. It sounds like each of this doggy trio has left its pawprint on your heart. Wishing you the best at this painful time.

Oh Jo Anne,
I am so so sorry for your loss. My heart is completely breaking with you and for you. It seems so unfair....I am at a loss for words right now but just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and my heart goes out to you. This is so sad and I know there are no words of comfort right now to ease this pain. Do take comfort in knowing that all of your furbabies are together now, looking down at you and letting you know they're ok.
My deepest condolences.

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Jo Ann, my heart hurts for you. I have been in your shoes. I unexpectedly lost my first golden, my heart & soul Maggie, to bloat at the age of 14. A few weeks later, I had to send my beautiful golden boy to join her at the Bridge....his cancer had returned and he was tired.
Micki said it well..........you don't get over it. Ever. But you do learn to smile again. I sometimes wonderful how I could even put one foot in front of the other during those dark days. Looking back now, though, I think I can almost handle anything. It doesn't take away the pain...it's always there....but in time you will smile again.
I promise.
Thank you everyone for your words of comfort and support it has really helped during this time.
