Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Well... it has been officially more than one week that my boy has been gone. I lit a candle at 4pm yesterday and sat on 'his couch' and told him how much I miss him. It feels like he has been gone an eternity, and that our actual time together was just a blip on the time/life spectrum.
Awww, such a sweet little remembrance corner. Very touching..
Yep, bringing the ashes home is soooo bittersweet. But having them back home with us is also very comforting.
Love the photos

That is the best photo ever. What a gorgeous pup. I know you will always miss him like crazy. It's impossible not to when a soul touches your life the way he did.
Tell us more about that day at the beach. It's such a great photo of him, how did he like the swimming action that day?

Believe it or not, that beach day was just in July! At Point Isabel, CA. Doesn't seem like that long ago. It was just as the HO was starting to get more noticeable in his back right leg so we wanted to make sure he got in as much beach time as possible.
One of Chance's favorite things was swimming after sticks and tennis balls -- often times trying to bring back 2-3 sticks in his mouth at once, or two tennis balls, etc. After his amputation, I was soooo happy he could swim just as well (with the assistance of his vest) and enjoy it just as much.
Here's his second to last beach day in September... maybe only 10 days before he crossed the bridge. I sure hope there are swimming holes in doggy heaven.
Oh yeah.......you betcha there are all kinds of places to swim at the Bridge!!! In fact, rumor has it that this was a pool pawty to WELCOME CHANCEYPANTS upon his rrival!! So many of those September Saints spend half of their day swimming and frolicking together...chasing sticks...tennis balls (green) ... and rocks!!
Look! You can recognize Chance right in the middle of things! 🙂
Love and higs

I'm so sorry :(. I've been offline a while but was very sad to read that he had passed. But I'm so grateful he had extra time with you. We're wishing you peace and comfort.

Our baby was born on 10/25. Bear has been SO curious and attentive. And we laugh thinking about how much moreso Chance would have been all about this little guy... trying to snuggle him or sneak a kiss, etc.
What a wonderful baby you've got there, many congratulations 🥂
Bear looks super cute, he'll surely be his best friend as he (is it a boy?) grows up 🐾👶🏼👦🏽🐾
And you can bet Chanceypants is there too 💕🕊💕 she will ALWAYS be there for you and your beautiful baby 💗
She will be giving him Angel's kisses and whispering sweet woof woofs in his little ear 💓
😘😘😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Oh my goodness!!!! Congratulations! What a GOOOOOORGEOUS bubba! ❤️❤️❤️
