Alison,Awww, I get it. Keep taking care of you and everything will fall into place as it's supposed to.

XOXO Claudia....
Thank you Sally for your kind words ... they mean so much. That you can all see the love we had helps me. I sometimes thought that I maybe I loved her more than she loved me but nope - that was my girl - always and forever. She was insightful, spunky, spirited, stubborn and loving and happy ... Oh was she happy ...she loved the dress-up (well maybe not all the time) but she was always a great sport.
Thank you everyone ... this video was pure joy to put together and serves as a happy reminder to the fun that we had!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Geez, I'm just catching up around here and I must say...WOW! The title is perfect because she DID have an amazing life. What a great job you did on the video..."Shelbers" would be proud.
I love how you dressed her for the holidays. I think my favorite picture though is her mixed in with the other stuffed animals. The expression on her face is priceless! You did good, Alison. Like Sally said, you can see you 2 truly were soul mates.
Hugs and Love,
Amy & Spirit Libby
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
That is a beautiful tribute. Putting together the memories like this is bitter sweet but I think the sweet outweighs the bitter. You can see that her life was a good one, a fun one. I especially love the last few photos. The love you both shared shines through.
Hugs

Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. My beloved heart dog, see her memoirs from Rainbow Bridge ...... http://princess.....pawds.com/
