I have a really bad case of The Red Eye(s) today and not from anyone choking me this time. It's from the loss of the bestest friend in the whole wide world, Samson. My bestest pal. My second in command. My partner in crime. My sidekick. My Cassidy. My Robin. My Costello.
He donned his official Bunny Ears proudly while always watching out for my hairy back. He fought the good fight for every monkeydog. He made Monkeydog Monkeybutts worldwide look up to him.
Samson, today we honor you, our fallen hero by blacking our bunny ears. We honor you with these empty bunny ears knowing that you will continue to be here with us in spirit even if we can't see you anymore.
Goodbye to the best friend in the whole wide world.

I too am mourning the loss of our beloved fearless Monkeybutts co-leader.
Last night, Mama gave me an extra treat and said it was in honor of Samson. That was nice, and I remembered all the times Mr. Monkeybutt007 Samson made me giggle.
Today though I am sad. We will miss him terribly. I am just a puppy and still learning the Monkeybutt ways, and Samson was someone I very much looked up to. Today, I pledge to do my best, to be a loyal and true Monkeybutt, deserving of the ears.
Samson - please watch out for us Monkeybutts here that are carrying on, with playful antics poking fun at Tripawds, in your honor.
I hope you are having as much fun in heaven as you had here on Earth.
Nose-pokes,
MBBunny Rita
I am a Monkeybutt Bunny. I used to live on the beach in Mexico. Now I have it good. Well, mostly good anyway. My mama tells me about my angel big sister, Abby, all the time. Apparently she was like a big deal or something....
Dearest Monkeybutt Members- I will always watch over you all. I will still whisper wisecracks from beyond and nudge you all into shennanigans.
Spirit Samson007
Spirit Samson was Spirit Tripawd Daisys four legged "brother" and ruled as the self proclaimed head of the Monkeybutt Federations East Coast Division. Lady Chunky Monkey stayed from Oct 2011 and left for the bridge in Apr 2012. Miss Perdy is left and has some big pawprints to fill.

Samson, Buster ate the bunny ears (he is an emotional eater when he is sad) so mom has to get him and Finchy new ones. But know they would be black as well.

Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.
Samson, you were a pretty good monkey dog, that I gotta admit.
Cheers to you fearless MB leader, you will be missed even by the Tripawds.

My bunny ears are at half-mast. I'm new so I am still learning, but I know what a great monkeybutt leader you were. I told mommy we were supposed to have extra treats in your honor but Mommy said I am a treat 'ho and I have too many as it is. She said I ask to go out to go potty (and get a treat) when I don't even have to go. Mean, mean mommy.
Sad MB Wiggly Wrigley
P.S. I don't have my own avatar yet so I have to use tripawd Sammy's — good thing he is not here or I would have to bite him. And I have really sharp puppy teeth!

Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
We are on the move and just now hearing the sad news. I can't tell you how much my heart is breaking right now for Julie and Bob. They've already had more than their fair share of losses this year. We will never forget you, Samson. You were four paws of wonderful.
