I am so sorry for your loss. I think it's remarkable that you have come and shared what happen to your dear boy Flame. He was a remarkable dog who was dearly loved by you and your husband. He was lucky as were the two of you. Flame will not be forgotten by you sharing his life.
Our deepest sympathies,
Esther and her Snoop
Wow. What a beautiful boy you have there. Such a happy dog! He definitely looks very happy and safe and comfortable with you all. What a great life.
Thank you for sharing photos. Still sending you so much love.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Thanks for sharing these wonderful pics of your beautiful pups, Sandra........since seeing his loving face, you can see the love he has for you in his eyes.....
And it is okay to be sad, I don't think the deep sadness ever goes away, we just learn to live with it......but please know, you are certainly not alone with those feelings.
We all do just take one day at a time.......
Love,
Bonnie & Angel Polly
What a beautiful spirit your Flame was / is. Thank you so much for sharing your story. Amazing and very sad. Hugs to you and Flame in heaven. My baby Sadie was just diagnosed with cancer and will soon be a tripawd if all goes well. She will be 3 in August and expected a sprain. Still in shock. Prayers for you and your family for healing.
Oh darn I can't see the video but I LOVE the photos. Thank you for sharing them with us, it's clear that he had one amazing life with all of you. I hope with each new day you can smile a little more whenever you think about those good times.

Im Sandra's sister and Flame's Aunt. What amazing guardians you all are. Thank you for helping my sister deal with her broken heart. Flambie loved my Sandra so much - he used to lie and stare at her for hours, watching her every move. The love on his face was more than I have ever seen on any human face. He was and will always be one of the most special pups I've ever had the honour of meeting. He has left a huge hole in all our hearts.
Oh no Sandra! No no NOOOOO!! My heart is breaking over here. What shocking and terribly sad news. It's definitely not what I expected to hear. I was worried about Flame traveling and getting through that quarantine time, not about him getting through the surgery. I'm sooooo sorry you had to get that heartbreaking call from your vet.
Thank you so much for posting pictures of Flame and for sharing his story! It helps bring him to life for us - so we can love him the way you do. Oh my gosh, what a beautiful beautiful boy! Seriously, he's jaw dropping gorgeous!! I don't know much about Siberian Huskies but I don't think I've ever seen one with his coloring. So handsome. From those pictures, I'd never have guessed he lived on the streets at one time, had been through so much trauma or even that he was a senior dog. He looks HAPPY and full of energy, even in the picture taken the day of his operation. And his LOVE for you just oozes out of every single picture. Your sister said he'd sometimes just sit and stare at you. You know why? Because you gave him so much love he was completely over the moon happy. What a lucky lucky dog. He was also a true warrior, a miracle pup whose story we'll never ever forget. As humans, we can learn a lot from our canine friends. Can you imagine a human bouncing back like he did, over and over again? What an inspiration.
Look, you know this is the worst possible part of the fur love cycle. Sad. Emotional. Pissy. Gut wrenching, and so it goes. Through these next few weeks, please try to remember that you clearly would have done anything for your Flamey. He couldn't possibly have found a better, more caring family. It's abundantly evident from your pictures that Flame FELT deeply loved - reeeeeally felt it through every inch of his furry body. Is there anything in the world better than that?! What a gift. What a bond. So inspiring.
Sending you much love and emotionally healing energy...
Claudia and Angel Jersey Girl (who I know just LOVES that fun handsome boy of yours with the awesome accent - whoopee! The Rainbow Bridge has some advantages!!!!!)
Thanks for posting pictures of Flame. He certainly did look happy. What more can any dog ask for than a happy home with humans that make him feel safe and who love him. You gave him a wonderful life. It is hard and heartbreaking. Especially when it is so unexpected. It hurts. You really can see the love shining from his beautiful blue eyes. Sending love, Lori and Ty
