Fellow tripawds, eat a chicken jerky for Emily or if you can pull it off a McDouble and fries.
I am so heading to McDonald's to get Harley a McDouble today in Emily's honor. I often think of Emily, as she earned her wings the day Harley lost his leg. And seeing her beautiful avatar always makes me smile ... beautiful, beautiful dog. Thinking of you ...
Amputation on 11/10/09, due to Histiocytic Sarcoma in left elbow. Angel Harley earned his wings on 06/24/10.
Awwww...
She is still a special part of the tripawd family. She'll always be our own "Church Lady" !
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Happy ampuversary, Emily! This should be a day to be happy, because 1 year ago today, you became free from that nasty c thing growing in your leg 🙂 You had 5 SUPER months, and I'm sure you are still with your pawrents in invisible form. When I see your picture on this site, I don't even think of you as gone...you're still here, silly! Jack and I joined this site only a week or so after your amputation, so I think of us as amputation buddies - I hope that is OK with you! Keep telling your mom all this great advice she offers (I'm sure you whisper stories and tips in her ear at night) because you are STILL a valued member of this community. Once a tripawd, ALWAYS A TRIPAWD!!! WOOOOO!!! Miss ya, Girlie!
