Jane, I'm so very sorry you've had to say goodbye to Ember. I applaud you for being her loving caretaker. May the wonderful memories soon replace the pain in your heart.
RIP sweet Ember, run free at Rainbow Bridge.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
So sorry to hear this news Jane, but your words show you are strong. Ember would be proud. May she run free of pain and happy at the Rainbow Bridge with Jerry and all his tripawd friends who have passed. Please try to find some peace knowing that by sharing Ember's story, you are certain to help others who may face the same difficult decisions with their pups down the road. Thank you.

Oh Jane, we are so very sorry to hear this news. That last step in our journey is the hardest. We know mere words don't make the pain any easier, but you did an incredibly kind thing by helping her soul on to another journey, where she can roam pain-free once more.
Ember put up an incredible fight, and her courageous story will continue to give other pawrents the inspiration they need to get past the bad news of an osteosarcoma diagnosis, and look foward to the future.
You had mentioned you would send us some photos of her a while back but we never got them as far as I know. If you'd like to send some now we would love to post them here in tribute to your girl.
Many many hugs going out to you.

I am sorry to hear that Ember has decided to go play with her angel friends. Please know that because of her, many other people out there will be able to catch OS sooner by doing more complete x-rays. She will literally be a lifesaver. One pawed hugs from Jackers and best wishes to you through this hard time

Thank you Angel Jerry for posting Ember's picture, and thank you for the kind words from everyone. I just am feeling at a loss - not having Ember has left such a hole in our lives. I have had many other dogs before - but Ember is the only one that grew up with my kids. Just one of the family. I have countless pictures of here as she was usually there when we did things together and somehow she is always in the picture. She was a genius at figuring out what game the children were playing and how she could join in.
We all love our dogs so much here, I know all of you understand.

Dear Jane, I am very sorry to hear that you had to say goodbye to Ember. She was such a beautiful girl. She had fought the battle bravely that you should be proud of her and yourself. She is now back at the Heavenly Father's place, where there is no pain, no suffering and no tears. I think she is now playing ball with angel children and angel tripawd heros.
Love.
I am so sad to hear of your loss, she was a beautiful girl. I can tell by looking at her that she was loved greatly. Take good care and be kind to yourself. Her spirit lives on.

Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets!
Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!
Jane,
Im so sorry to hear about Ember. It is very hard to lose our furbabies, but we have to remember the good times and let that help us heal. Ember was a brave girl and you were a wonderful Mom to her. I know that she is up running pain free with Jerry, Wrigley and my Max. She couldnt be in better company!
Be good to yourself as you travel through this last part of the journey.

Thank you for all the kind thoughts from everyone. I am so touched that those of you that have lost dogs are here to comfort those that are going through it right now. And those of you who are still battling this awful disease can offer such kind words also, I am hoping and praying for your lovely dogs.
Somewhere around the bend there is a happy pack of running, playing dogs waiting for us all.

I believe that Jane...I really do - we will be reunited with all our loved ones again. This life is temporary but part of the journey of the spirit and the soul...they don't die when the body is laid to rest - they soar to the heavens where there is nothing but peace and love. I'm so sorry for your loss...words never seem to really express feelings at a time like this...my heart is heavy knowing that you're going through this - please find peace and comfort that Ember could not have had a better mommy than you. She is a beautiful, hoppy girl who is now hanging out with the tripawd pack up above just waiting and watching over until you meet again.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and we send you much love and many hugs,
Be good to yourself and grieve in your own time.
