Daisy had another seizure when I came home from work today, this one longer and more severe then the previous ones. We made the agonizing decision to let her go today. It was after hours at our vets office and Bob and I were at her side. Will write again....need to have a good cry right now.
Daisy earned her wings on Oct 22, 2011 at 14 years old
She is now the official greeter at the rainbow bridge
Everyone is guaranteed a welcome sniff and Dalmatian smile
Oh no, I'm so so sorry to read this. I hoped so much that you would have some more good time with your beautiful girl.
I know you will miss her terribly, but I hope you will soon find that you remember her with more smiles than tears. I'm sure she had a wonderful life with you.
Hugs and healing Abby kisses,
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Oh, we are so very saddened by this news. We'll miss our Daisy-girl. Give Samson a little extra love from us... We'll be thinking of you.

So sorry to see your post on Daisy. As much as I hate to say it, being forced into making the decision on the spot so to speak turns out to be a blessing for everyone involved. You guys are in our thoughts, give Sampson a big rub from us, Spirit Gus and Dan
My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010
Oh no. I'm so utterly sad for you guys. This is so heartbreaking. As much as we prepare ourselves for this day, it is still so unbearable.
Daisy, was given a wonderful gift by being rescued by you three. She was loved and she loved you in return so much. You have helped her so much in her journey especially when she lost her leg. She was so deeply loved.
We had a lot of smiles and laughs but I know deep in your heart, it was to hide the heartache you were going through with the struggles she had being 3 legged.
None of us can help ease the pain of her loss but just as you were here for me when I lost Comet along with everyone else, please know Julie and Bob we are here for you. I will miss her. We all will miss her.
You quoted a wonderful poem for my Comet when she left...here is a fitting one for your Daisy flower:
"Flowers are those little colorful beacons of the sun from which we get sunshine
when dark, somber skies blanket our thoughts." ~Dodinsky
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Oh, I am so sorry. Saying goodbye is so hard, and releasing them to the rainbow bridge is the hardest gift to give our special friends. She was welcomed by many tripawd heroes, who are now showing her the way, pain free.
Sending you tear-filled hugs,
Jenna and Spirit Chili Dawg
Diagnosed with OSA: 5/2/2011 Ampuversary: 5/11/2011 OSA returned in hip: 8/26/2011
Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.
Daisy had a special place in all of our hearts, and she will be dearly missed here. So, so sorry for your loss.

So so very sorry for your loss....we know how difficult this is and know how difficult it is to let go, especially when you go on a journey such as this. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that she's looking down at you and letting you know she's ok.
Our deepest condolences.

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Daisy taught us all to be brave. I so admired her spirit, her ability to just keep going - her wheels giving her renewed independence. This is indeed a sad day. You guys are in my thoughts as you struggle through this sad time.
Daisy will always have a special place in my heart.
RIP sweet Daisy. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
