I was able to pick up Coopers ashes today, and bring him home. They made a paw print in clay before he was cremated, and that was nice, I have 2 now because Cynthia and Isabelle were kind enough to send Cooper a paw print making kit before he left. It may sound strange, but after bringing Coopers ashes home, the house doesnt seem as quiet , and I feel a sense of peace ... welcome home, my beautiful boy.

the monkeydogs only THINK they have invaded the tripawd state
Welcome home Coop! There is something settling about finally saying they are home for good. I talked to Trouble on the drive home and patted her little urn.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Oh that's such a bittersweet event. Not strange at all, it does bring a sense of closure doesn't it?

Doesn't sound crazy at all......I truly don't think I could ever start to heal until my furkids were *home* with me.......the beautiful baker's rack that hold all their ashes, pawprints, clips of hair and photos is getting wall too full......but while I know their spirit lives on, it does bring some comfort to have them back.
Welcome home Cooper....and thoughts of healing for your dad.
we get it..we totally get it. welcome home cooper.
