Chance was a wonderful and beautiful best friend, protector and nanny!
I love this quote from Chance's mom:
"He was WONDERFUL with kids..if he heard them cry, he would lay his head over the bassinet and whine until my hubby or I comforted the baby."
Thank you Chance's family for letting me do this special tribute to a handsome and super awesome boy!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
A beautiful tribute for a beautiful boy.

Love Never Ends
Thanks everyone - we LOVE the tribute to Chance. It is such a special way to remember him and memorialize the unconditional love he showed us. Also, the timing of the video could not have been more perfect - my husband returned home from his deployment Thursday, so we were able to watch this tribute together.
Chance, our 9.5 year old Rottie/Shepherd mix was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left front shoulder. In July of 2010, we planned to proceed with the amputation, but lung mets were discovered. Chance reached the Rainbow Bridge October 1, 2010, just a few weeks after his 10th birthday.

What a beautiful video and what a beautiful boy. You can just see in his photos how comforting and protective he must have been - how much love you all had for him. How wonderful and also wonderful that your husband is safely home now. Now that makes two major heros in your life - how lucky for you!
Kami (Mackenzie & Kobe's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Yet another GREAT video for yet another GREAT dog!
Hugs to you and your family...hope the kids are doing ok with out their protector...

Such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful boy! Made me smile and made me cry. Especially the last picure (looks a lot like Sadie) Sadie's ears never stood up straight. Anyway, I'm so glad the family got to watch it together.
Hugs and sloppy spirit Sadie kisses,
Lisa & Sadie
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
