That is such a sweet photo, thank you for sharing with us. No doubt you miss Bender, he's quite an unforgettable dog.
Give yourself lots of time, it hasn't been long and there's no way anyone would expect you to not feel shattered after saying goodbye. We totally get it, you can come here anytime to vent and share memories of your adorable angel.

What a beautiful picture, your love for each other is so, so strong 💓
I know it is really hard to move on on our own, our babies leave an enormous gap in our lives when they earn their wings ...
But truth is they are still with us, they live in our hearts, where they belong.
You cannot change the way things are, you cannot bring Bender back to life but you can try and listen ...
Bender is not far, he will visit you in your dreams or send you signs of some form ...
Sending you a big, big hug, 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹
Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
Oh I'm so sorry Beautiful Bender shed his earth clothes. There's no comfort anywhere, you just cry and keep moving, one foot in front of the other. and such beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing. I have a soft spot for bulldogs and he was a beauty.
You did so much for him and fought so hard - your love was so clear and he knew it and still knows it. and he's still with you and always will be. Thank dog, they don't leave us even after they leave us. and keep an eye out for signs - he'll let you know he's okay now and keeping an eye on you.
Many hugs to you and more pictures! We're all here for you. Come back and share when you can.
love

And you did it AGAIN Bender!!! You made us smile through the tears!! You take the best pictures of any dog on the Planet. You are soooo expressive and also so content, so self assured. Of course, that is because you know you are so adored and loved❤

Ohhhhh ... what a sweet picture ❤️
Bender was and still is a natural born top model, when you think no picture could be sweeter there you go and publish another, even sweeter and cuter than the last 💓
We will be celebrating his birthday here on earth and he is going to have a HUGE pawty in the sky 🎈🎈🎈🎈
Make no mistakes.
If there is a vast storm around the globe on Monday we know for sure thunder stands for their mad laughter, tornados are for their twirling around dancing, lightening is for the disco lights and heavy rain is for all the drinks being spilled all over the clouds as our Angels dance, eat and drink deliriously happy🌟🌟🌟
Life is not over just because they changed their "earth clothes", now there are no boundaries for what they do and where they can fly to!
I bet you're going to have some friends visiting you in your dreams that night and I hope they are vivid enough so you can remember it when you wake up.
You are very wise, sweetie, you accepted he is an Angel now and are at peace with the fact you could not control fate.
That is not easy to do but you've done it.
Bender is SO proud of his Dad 😍🌟
Hugs and slobbery kisses from the sky 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AT THE RAINBOW BRIDGE SWEET BENDER!! I have no doubt you have been eating ice cream and cake non stop! Of course, your cake is made of edible kongs!
I have no doubt that the "hurricane " we are about to experience on the East Coast is not that at all, but rather the wild and crazy birthday pawty that Eurydice described!

We celebrate your birthday here on earth too. Goodness knows you have brought us so much joy and laughter and happiness that we never would have experienced had you not been "born"😁
We'll all have an ice cream toast to you tonight😎

It has been 4 weeks and I still can't believe Bender is gone. Out of habit, I find myself reaching to pet him or give him some morning yogurt.
I was listening to the radio today, I heard a segment on PTSD for cancer patient caregivers. It really hit home with me and I believe it could help materialize a lot of what others are feeling.

During times like these, mental health is very important and I would recommend talking to someone if you notice symptoms of PTSD and/or depression.
Miss you Bender <3
I'm coming back to read those links you so kindly and selflessly shared with us .
Just wanted you to know that reaching out to pet Bender....well...go ahead and do it!! Talk with him. Eat an extra bowl of yogurt, one for you, one for him. He's watching and he's listening. While these "routines " are different for you...not so much for Bender. He's still a part of you, and you are a part of him.❤❤❤

Yes, we understand all too well feeling like you are stuck in a bad dream. We can only promise you that, eventually, slowly but surely, the bad dream does fade. Eventually, slowly but surely, the day to day joy of having Bender in your life will lift the dark veil of night and let Bender brilliant light of love and happy toothy grins come shining through.
Bender always was, always is, and always will be, one of THE cutest dogs ever!! I know it's bittersweet to see photos. I know it also brings you/us smiles. As I've said over and over, you cannot look at a photo of Bender without smiling. Bender has left us with so many facets of his legacy, and his ability to bring us smiles no matter what is one of his greatest gifts.
With love

For the first time since Benders passing, I dreamt of him last night. He came to meet my newborn daughter. He was so gentle and loved playing with her 🙂 best of all, he was whole again. I remember specifically saying that he can go down the garage stairs because his leg is better.
I miss him so much but it was a treat to see him again.
Miss you big fella.
