Maggie lost her battle with kidney disease on 8-24-13
Charon,
So sorry about Jane. Not many of us have been so blessed to have a pup live such a long life. I know it must be very difficult to say goodbye to one who has been a family member for so long. My thoughts and prayers are with you....
Dane licks and leans from Queen Nova and mom Sue
Dane Mom Sue at nova.tripawds.com and Mom to Beautiful Great Dane Queen Nova, a Blind Tripawd, who kicked cancer's butt from 11/08-03/13. The Queen is Spirit Nova now, but her legacy lives on here at Tripawds!
Thank you all for your support and wonderful words. many have said, wow fifteen years...is it a blessing, yes indeed. i'd not give up one moment of the adventure with jane, not for the world. she was a true Bodhisattva, sent to teach us wisdom and compassion. all i can say is, 'job well done sister'. our gayle is still adjusting to the immediate increase of quiet and space we find ourselves in. knowing we have such wonderful friendships here in this community will help in navagating through this sad time.
i've made a photo video of janes adventure in this lifetime. as she goes on to new challenges, i hope to someday see that same spark of hers, in another's eye, and know she's returned to live again.
thank you all, charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Charon,
What beautiful videos - and your Jane - what a beautiful soul. It's so obvious how you all shared such love and joy for each other - a true blessing and gift. I am so so sorry for your loss and know how difficult this must be right now. My heart goes out to you and your family. We are thinking of you.
xoxo
Kami, Angel Mackenzie and Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
So sorry to hear about Jane's passing. She was adorable, and looks to have lived a life full of love.
Our thoughts will be with your family during this sad time.
Zack, King of Dogs, 1996 to 2010
Zack lived a full 14 years, even to the end.
The joy and memories he provided us will last a lifetime.
Surviving him is his sister, Izzy, a 12-year-old boxer mix quadpawd.
And the latest addition, Zula, an 11-month-old pit bull mix tripawd.
Such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful sister.
My thoughts are with you. And we are only a phone call or email away.
Ge'Lena
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
What a beautiful soul. Looks like she had a wonderful life. Rest (and run) in peace, Jane.
Jackie & Abby
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
