It's a dark and sad day today for our dear East Tennessee family – Charon, Don, Gayle and the kitties.
We lost our brave beautiful Jane today.
Jane watched over our dear Gayle throughout this cancer journey and even Charon with her own battle with cancer. She was a lovely girl and I'm so honored to have known her through Charon. Her living 15 years is a testament to how much she was loved. She is going to missed so badly.
My heart goes out to you, Charon, Don, Gayle and the kitties. You've been like family to me through my first month without Comet so just know, you are loved - and many of us are here for you.
Jane, I'm going to miss hearing your stories Charon told so well and I'm going to miss hearing your barks in the background when on the phone with Sister Charon.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Charon, my heart goes out to you and your family. Fifteen years is a long and happy life to share with a pet. As Ge'Lena says, a true testament to the love and care Jane received.
I can't help but share with the others what a beautiful soul you have. While Charon was facing Jane's last days, she was working to help me find an accupuncturist for Trouble. You have no idea what that means to me. You are one of the true beautiful people on this earth, such compassion.
I am saddened that the beautiful Jane has come to the end of her journey. She will always be remembered in our house.
RIP sweet Jane. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Charon,
I really am sorry for your loss. Jane looks like she and my Shy could have been sisters, what a beautiful girl. She looks like she had so much love and a wonderful life with you. The heavens have been blessed with another angel. 15 years, it is amazing for a big dog to reach that age. It is a testiment indeed to your love indeed.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Charon,
I am so sorry to read of your loss of Jane. I am sure you have so many wonderful memories after spending 15 years together. I hope in the coming days you will find some peace and comfort remembering all the good times you shared. My thoughts are with you.

Birthday – November 4 2003
Amputation – January 13 2010
Crossed the Bridge – June 2 2011
We are so sorry Charon, Gayle and family, this is a very sad day indeed.
Fifteen years is amazing, and the sign of a life well lived, and loved. I don't know if having a dog live such a long, beautiful life makes it harder to say goodbye or if it somewhat prepares you, but either way I know it's a hard thing to do through.
Jane, you were so good to Barney when he visited you, and now I know you'll be his guardian angel forever. Thanks for looking out for him, and all of our Spirit Tripawds too. xoxo

15 years is amazing, I only hope Chloe has another 5 years left in her. We are sorry for your loss, I know Jane will surely be missed.
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to beautiful Jane. Looking in her eyes, I see a really sweet soul. My thoughts are with you and your family during this tough time.
Lisa, Ranger and Spirit Sadie
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

I am so sorry to read that you have lost your Jane. Fifteen years is a long time but never long enough. Please accept my sympathies.
