Pam,
Kona looks so sweet in the picture with her half-eaten toy. You can see she was loved and happy. We're so sorry you lost your girl - no words can take the pain away.
You have been there for many of us who have gone through the most difficult times with our tripawds - and want you to know we care and feel your sadness.
Big Hugs from Angel HoneyGurl's Pack.
Dx Osteosarcoma 3/31/10. Amputation 7/21/10. Honey put up a valiant fight and lost her battle 9/22/10. Missing her and treasuring 9 years with our Honeygurl.
Pam, I am so sorry that you had to say goodbye to Kona. Bless you for giving that pittie such a good life. I just met a rescue pit the other day at vet who was so precious and sweet I wanted to bring him home. They are very special dogs.
Thinking of you.

Pam, I'm so sorry you had to lose Kona. What a strong and loving pup, and how lucky she was that you found her.

Pam,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Kona sounds like she was a very special and beautiful girl. Like everyone said, you gave her a wonderful, loving life. How lucky for both of you.
Kami, Angel Mackenzie and Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Pam,
I just read your post about Kona... I'm so sorry to hear the news... Kona sounded like such a sweet and loving girl, that brought so much joy to your life over the years. I love the picture of her with her torn up toy!
You're in my thoughts and prayers...
Kona, Rest in peace sweet angel!
Angel Jake and Wolfie's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
Dear Pam,
I'm so sorry to hear about Kona. My deepest condolences. She looked like such a sweetie - what a wonderful picture.
Sending hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Dear Dr. Pam,
I know that Kona was your 'heart dog' and I am so sorry you had to let her go.
You had a fantastic life together and from that love, you continue to share your expertise and compassion with other pups and their owners; both here on Tripawds and in your own family pack.

Pam,
I wanted to post publicly my condolences for your loss of Kona. I know you told us when we were there at Sammy's appointment, but I wanted you to know I understand and feel so sad for your family. She sounds like the leader of your crew and a very important part of your family. The hardest part about loving dogs is having to let them go.
They give homes a sense of family, make our lives full and fun, and give us a sense of being needed. When they leave it is like a huge whole has been torn the fabric of our home. I am sorry.
Please give Julian a big squishy hug for me. I love that dog!

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
