Hey guys!
I wanted give a quick update on how Ted is doing. He is doing far better with trucks. Once in a while one will still trigger him but over all he is defiantly improving. The things that I started doing with him was acknowledging the "threat". When I would say I see it Ted he would become content. It is like he needed to know I was aware of the thing He now views as dangerous. He just wants me to be safe. 🙂 haha the other thing I noticed was that Lucy was also getting anxiety from trucks. Even though Ted is the male and grew to be larger than Lucy she still retained the alpha role. So I Also started to reassure Lucy and that made a huge difference for Ted.
Great strategy!!! Very tuned into the fact that Teddy needed you to see the threat for BOTH of you! And then he enlisted Lucy's help too!! Don't anybody be messing with this trio!
Looking forward to hearing more of Teddy's journey as a tripawd...with pictures of course!
Big hugs to the trio!!
