Hi all I haven't been on in a while tank is still kicking like he's got 4 legs I haven't had much chance to video him but I have been trying to get one of him jumping a 6-8 ft ditch he just clears it with ease it astounds me but he's too quick to catch it yet.i haven't been letting him out as much on the farm but he will still go a few kilometres with ease.I let him out last night and he caught another pig by himself my friend couldn't believe how fast he is as it's the first time he has seen him at full pace hunting anyway I hope everyone's tripawds are well and I will update a video soon.

OH Tank! You are such a wild boy! Wow, you really live the life. Please be careful with the ditch jumping though OK? We want you happy and lovin' life for a long long time (although I'm sure the piggies think otherwise).

Hi all tanks now 2 years post op from losing his front leg and still going strong a little slower but he’s still the same dog now as he was pre losing his leg. He still jumps on and off the ute, barks annoyingly at other utes and still catches his own pigs when he can. He’s such a good boy and his pack still knows he’s the boss. I lost my little old dog a few months ago at 15 due to kidney failure the saddest thing I have ever had to do was let him go but we have another addition to the pack a little silver/tan kelpie (yelpie lol ). Having tank as a tripawd is a little hard due to the fact he doesn’t let it get in his way and refuses to give up and the only thing he doesn’t do now is swim or go out to deep in water which is good as I nearly lost him one day to a crocodile when he was younger and had all paws on the ground.

OOOOMMMMDDDD!!!  I was just rhinking avout the amazing Tank the other today!!  Honest to goodness I was!  And BAM!  HERE IS A GREAT UPDATE ON THAT HAPPY-GO-LUCKY BOY!!😁😁

TWO. YEARS!!  WOW!!!  And I know Tank has been living  life to the fullest every single day!

I know it's hard to try and make a tripawd who doesn't  hold back in life take things a bit easier to try anc protect their joints, their legs, etc.  Some dogs are just strong willed and determined  to do things their way, no matter what the consequences!  Frankie, my tripawd is like that.

Two years as a tripawd and counting is a lot of wear and tear on those three legs, especially a wild fun loving guy like Tank!😁   So slowing down a little is not a bad thing, although it sounds like Tank isn't  missing  one second of being able to be Tank!

Really sorry to hear your best friend  of 15 years had to head to the Rainvow Bridge.  All of us here know the depth of grief involved.  We also know every day on earth with us was always the best day ever for us, and for them.😊   I knownyour palmis healthy  and whole again and watching  over you and all yiur pack.  Can't  wait to see pictures of the little "Yelpie" that your girl sent you❤

In fact, we need updated pictures of Tank the Boss and his pack!!  HINT!!   Seeing thisnupdate made my day....seeing pictures would be icing  on the cake🎂🎂

Hugs!

Oh my gosh Tank has so many crazy adventures! What a great pupdate, I'm so glad you returned. And yes we need photos!

Agree that if there is any way you can slow him down it would be really helpful as he ages. The older a Tripawd gets the more wear and tear becomes apparent, so no more jumping off utes if it can be avoided 😉

By the way, what the heck is a ute? Please explain to this ignorant American!

Sorry about the loss of your senior dog. It's never easy.

Tank, Tank, Taaaaaaank !!!!!!!

SO thrilled to hear from SuperDog again 😁

I’m not surprised he is still doing all that crazy stuff, including the ute (no idea as well what that is) his videos running as fast as the wind on three following your truck in dirt roads are still up there amongst the greatest videos of all times 🏆

We NEED more videos pleeeeeeease !

And you have a new puppy sent by your baby who recently earned her wings, that is exciting !

Amazing how our Angels do not want us to be sad and send us other pups to fill our hearts with joy yet again 💕

Cannot wait for you to publish some videos, I’ve got the snacks and am sitting in my comfy chair, I’m ready 🥜🥨🍺

Hugs and cuddles 😘🐮✨💫🌟🌹

Go to,page five and you'll see the  video of him jumping  off the UTE...probably  something similar to what we call a flatbed pick up truck.   And yes, you will gasp as you see Tank sail off that truck.

Thank you Benny, Jerry and Eurydice I tried to upload some photos but YouTube doesn’t have it any more so give me a few weeks and I will get some footage of tank down the farm when I get down there next. He ran 1.5klm the other night for his own pig again and caught it and by the time I got there he was buggered the poor boy and unfortunately i cant run as fast as the dogs. I have now decided to slow him down and he will get small runs on and off and put away I think I have to be cruel to be kind to him, it’s a sad time for us both in this decision but it will be the best for him in the long run. He has had no boundaries as a tripawd and he makes me proud constantly with his achievements and thank you for letting me share them on this page too. I pupdated his profile pic this is his happy face after catching that pig the other night.

And Tank caught a pig ???

WOW 😳😳😳

There is no stopping Super Dog that’s for sure!

It will be interesting to see whether you can actually slow him down, I don’t mean to differ from your assumptions but ... how do you stop your Super Hero?

I think he has a good stock of cryptonite hidden somewhere, if you ask me...

Cannot wait for the videos and photos!

Hugs and cuddles 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹

The Tank!  Tankman!  The Tankinator!  Shoot, we need a way to see big pictures and video! So glad he is doing so well!

Lisa, Minneapolis

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly.  His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
