Hmm. The link you posted is an image file (.jpg) not a video file.

There's a different one on facebook, and he can't walk because he's wagging his tail so much! Just the cutest little peanut ever!

TATE ~ Forever in our hearts.
Now that is determination in his eyes, what a sweetie. I'm banking on him walking again, just wait!
(thanks for posting the video Karen! how did you find it?)

OMD, he is so cute! And he looks very determined.
Does he have some beagle in him?
Please give him some extra kisses from Abby and me,
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
It looks like it, but based on his father and his size so far, it would have to be foxhound. he looks just like his father and his father looked like a beagle/lab type mix or something, but he has really long legs. No idea what his mother was. I guess his father could be beagle mixed with some slender/long legged breed of dog. I was thinking based on size though, that it was some other type of hound dog.
Our last pup was a beagle (such great dogs!) so we have a fondness for them or anything that looks remotely like one.
Hugs to Dexter.

Oh sweet baby!
This guy on our walk just now said Abby's "got heart." So does Dexter!

Oh man, I love Dexter! He doesn't know anything is wrong, but he keeps trying and trying. He reminds me of the little engine that could. And if you dipped that tail in some paint and hung up a sheet between a couple of trees, you could sell his "happy tail paintings." I'd buy one!
I think Dexter will ultimately be ok. I think it will take some time, but he obviously hasn't given up. He's been through so much--as have you--and really needs to come out a winner. Your whole family does. I'm pleased as punch that you are toughing it out with Dexter and not giving up. Many, many people would have euthanized him when he went a few days without getting up. Dexter is incredibly lucky that you are his advocate. Thank you.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/
Oh, he is just so adorable! And that TAIL! It's like a waving flag of JOY!
We're glad he's doing better. And we hope and pray that the good news will just keep coming!
As others are sharing non-tripawd inspawrations...I'd like to recommend Fifty the Two-Legged Pitbull. He has a facebook page. Whenever I need a little pick me up, I check in with Fifty. He makes me smile every time. Fifty's mom seems to be quite involved in dog rehab. She might be a good contact for you.
