My border collie mix was just diagnosed with Nerve root cancer. We removed the bulk of it in his leg with amputation, but the cancer is still there unfortunately. I have read a lot about medicinal mushrooms helping treat cancer, or at least give him more time. He is currently on Gabapenton and Tramadol for pain and will likely stay on Gabapenton long term. I purchased "Only Natural Pet ShroomImmune Organic Mushroom Blend" and would like to give it to my dog, on top of the pain meds. I am wondering if the medication/mushrooms will react badly with each other causing some kind of chemical reaction or sorts? Please help!
Hello and welcome to Tripawds, your future posts will not have to wait for approval.
I'm sorry you are dealing with cancer in your boy- what's his name?
I approved this post and deleted your other post under 'Eating Healthy' since the questions were the same- it's less confusing to have one thread.
