This looks bad to me like it's not even or straight (the cut) and folds in on its self then the other is bunched up at the bottom, but I'm not a vet so I'd like a honest opinion

I was able to see the first picture posted.

What was the reason for the amputation?  How long ago was the surgery? The reason I ask is, depending  on  if certain tumors were involved that can impact the "shape" of the incision depending on their location, etc.  Also, there can be swelling  making the skin appear to be "swollen" around the sutures.

Regardless, I am not a Vet and not giving Vet advice. HOWEVER, My suggestion would be to post under.  https://tripawd.....ask-a-vet/ forum and post that picture there.  "Dr Pam" is a REAL  Vet who graciously volunteers her expertise here and she can share her insight. While waiting for her response, you can also scroll through  and you'll see photos of various incisions

Look forward to hearing more about your pup.

Hugs

Hey Sally, looks like this is in Ask a Vet.

I'm not a vet either but that does look like a pretty healthy incision. Every vet has their own suturing style, so I'll be curious to see what our Fairy Vet Mother has to say about it!

Yes it is common to have a "Y" or "T" shaped incision due to removing the scapula and often there is some extra bunched tissue due to excess skin. Actually that incision looks better than most with minimal bruising.
