Birdie had her front left leg amputated a month ago due to osteosarcoma. I have opted out of further treatment, but I have noticed that she has episodes of involuntary head tremors. They started around the time I noticed the initial tumor in her leg. Is it possible that the head tremors are a sign that the cancer has metastasized to her brain or Skull?

Sarah I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's an equilibrium thing and not cancer. I'm sure Dr. Pam will have some suggestions for you. If you can take a video that would be helpful.

What breed of dog is Birdie?  I do not typically read all of the forum posts.  I recommend you Google Idiopathic head tremors (dogs) and see if that is what your dog is doing.  In general brain tumors cause balance issues or full grand mal seizures but it depends which part of the brain is affected. OSA is more likely to metastasize to bones but I suppose that brain lesions are possible.

Birdie is a pit bull. It looks a lot like the ideographic head tremors, but I am just extra worried with the osteosarcoma diagnosis.
