I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!
The ScAbbers knows my monkeydog calendars are coming soon and since she isn't in them 14 times like she was in the Tripawd Calendars, she's going to steal my show!!!! I just knew it!.........that's why she is ScAbby Abby!
You better be "faking it" ScAbby! Cause, if you aren't, then I'll have to write something nice. And...well....I'm just not going to write anything nice........................(not for a long while)

Just in case mommy reads this:
Hope you feel better, Abby.

p.s. Mom is gonna wear her 'I'm too sexy for my leg' t-shirt tomorrow--it came in the mail today and it is beautiful!
Abby,
I know you're going to be OK because...well, I KNOW it! You are a beautiful tripawd warrior princess, and I haven't even met you yet, which means that you just pulled a muscle from playing too hard (I know how that goes), because you have that special pink cape, which means you just pulled a muscle from playing too hard, because the cape protects you from bad stuff, and since you have the cape, well that means that you just pulled a muscle from playing too hard (remind me not to drink out of mom's coffee cup anymore....) Get well soon Abby!
Love,
Ranger
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Well hell.... She seems worse this morning. But she seems to have different troubles today. Her remaining front leg is very swollen, mostly the whole lower part of her leg on down to and including her paw.
She can hardly walk on it. I think we will be carrying her around today. I just gave her some piroxicam and I am hoping that will help. She seems depressed, but then, she is always looking depressed when she is not out on a walk or at the beach...
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
geesh abby...what's with all this going on??? maybe if you take a couple of extra medicinal naps, it will help. it can't hurt...you just work on getting better and stop scaring your mom (and us too!!)
charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Boy, these kids sure know how to give us the grey hairs. Tell Abby to stop making you worry. Hope she's feeling better after some of Gayle's medicinal naps. Give her lovies from us!

Come on Abby! We need you feeling good! Please, please please - get to feeling better!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Oh Jackie, I just logged in and saw this. I'm jumping on the overuse train and also, maybe she pulled something in her leg and that's why it's swollen? One time Finchy did something like that when he was around 2 years old- I don't remember exactly what he did, but his leg swelled up and we had to keep him crated and on anti-inflammatories for like a week or so. Praying for you guys!
Jenna, Finchy, & Spirit Chili Dawg
