All I can say is WOW!  She is nothing short of amazing.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Sounds like you did everything right :)

Keep the activities light for two to three weeks... don't want to tear an ACL with such a big hound.  You may want to consider a post-walk rub down/massages to help with any minor discomfort.  5 or 10 minutes with an ice pack after a walk can really help also.

Right now you need to 'baby' that other rear leg... let it get strong.. its got a lot of hopping to do!
