my girl Marlee has lost more weight since surgery and we are now dealing with our 2nd pressure sore and various warts.  We have hardwood floors and she is just now learning that the beds are to prevent these!  One of the warts is near her elbow and I believe she knocked it when plopping on the floor.  It is a little swollen and now bleeding a little.  I’m trying hard to stay positive but so exhausted!  I feel like the scar healing and amp went so well now everything else is going wrong!  Is all this normal?! crying

Ember, I know our Fairy Vet Mother Dr. Pam will have some insight, but for now please check out these Tripawds Gear blog posts about hygromas / elbow pressure sores.

Pressure sores are normal for larger breeds.  My dog Tazzie had to wear a bootie due to a large pressure sore on her front foot.  I would read the link Jerry gave you and consider Dog Leggs. Your vet may be able to remove the wart with a local but the elbow will still need protection.
