I hope this works, I might have to edit…. Can we help her? Does someone live in Detroit? What can we do???? This is so sad, but maybe it happened for a reason?
How do you change the topic header? I think maybe it would be better to just put something else in the topic line, so as not to upset anyone who have recently had to go through this.
This girl rottie is amazing. I would like to figure out if we can come up with a fund for this family or figure out a way that they can keep her for her last remaining time. I doubt it would be for too long, but every day counts.
How frustrating… I can't make it show up… Can anyone look up ?Euthanized dog comes back to life" on CNN and put the video in here? Cometdog are you out there???

there you go - maybe just a link would be better.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
I saw it on Facebook a couple of days ago. I didn't have the heart to watch. It is a heartbreaking story.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
I you-tubed it and saw the story there. Any possibility a university would be willing to do the surgery pro bono if it is experimental, for some reason this dog isn't suppose to leave here yet, but you hate to see her suffer if she can't move, kind of a tough call. Anybody have any really good contacts?
My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010
Maybe that title is little better?
Many, many, many years ago when my husband was younger he worked at an animal shelter for a couple of months. He quit when some puppies were given a bad batch or dosage and were alive after they were disposed of. He found them. That was more than he could take.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Mod Pawd to the rescue. Thank you.

Thanks Mod Pod!
I am going to have to slow it down! Ok, here is what I am thinking. Based on the story I read on line, the family is being evicted and can't afford pain meds or to take her in the move.
If we can start a fund maybe, or give her some exposure, there maybe a blessed soul out there who is willing to take on a dog like her and give her the time on earth that it looks like she is supposed to have.
Does this sound right?
How about rescue groups in the detroit area? Are there any who specialize in Rotties, or old dogs?
It is an uncomfortable subject, but she is alive, she needs help. I can't turn away because I don't want to think about it. Lets get something going for her, even if it is just to get her pain pills so she isn't suffering.
thanks for being here,

I googled dog rescue in detroit and wonder if any of these might help. Michigan animal Adoption Network, non-profit,248-545-5055, Guardian Angel Animal rescue734-788-6857 or 734-332-9459, Home Fur ever 313-897-4931. If none of these can help maybe they can point you in the right direction. I can't believe there isn't a vet up there that at least wouldn't donate some meds.

She is doing well, responding to medication. They don't think that she will have to be put down. The family is searching for a vet who could do the operation for her. If you would like to donate here is the link.
