MUHAHAHAHAHA! What a cutie and love the ears! And timing doesn't matter. It felt right and you went for it. Glad to see you have another furbaby to love. Congrats and enjoy!
Cadence's Mom
Cadence Faye: Born 10/30/04, stepped into our hearts 12/23/2004. Rear leg tumor found 7/24/11 by mom and dad, Xray on 7/25/11, Osteosarcoma suspected 7/26/11, amputation 7/29/11, Carboplatin started 8/23. Met free so far!
Congratulations on the new pup; she's certainly a keeper!!!! I, too, love to read, and I love James Herriot. In my next life, I want to be a vet in 1930's Yorkshire... Anyway, he was a huge advocate of getting another dog as soon as possible. I think he is absolutely correct. We've been without a dog for almost three months now-- it stinks. I can't think of a better way to honor Miss Abby than by bringing another dog into your home and loving her to pieces. Everybody wins.
PS My favorite dog story of all time is Mrs Donovan in James Herriot's Dog Stories.
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
Waaaay too sweet to be a real MB! What a doll!
Congratulations on bringing this sweetie into your life and THANK YOU for adopting a pup who really needed an awesome home like yours. She won the lotto!
My Momma says that Rita reminds her a lot of me when I was a pup, what with the white socks and all. Who knows, maybe those ears will stand up like mine did?
What a lucky pup, we are SO hoppy for all of you!

Hi MBBVP, Mama says I am too young for a boyfriend. Especially one with an eye patch. Mama says to watch out for boys with eye patches. She says they are usually up to no good stuff, which is usually how they ended up with the patch in the first place.
Mama said my angel sister was flirty and fickle. I am not flirty. I am just sweet.
I hope that we can still be friends. Even if I am breaking your little fuzzy heart.

{Did I do it right, Angel-sister Abby? Did I do a good job playing hard to get?}
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
I CAN TAKE OFF MY PATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's FAKE ANYWAY! See! See! See!!!
I had to wear it when I had The Red Eye(s) !........... Well, not really - I didn't have to wear it but I thought it was cool! But if you don't like it, my little bunbun baby - I won't wear it!
Oh Buunnnyboobaby! Please fall in love with me! I know you are sweet..........like the sugar that spilt on the floor - sweet!

Oh my gosh and dog or rather puppy! She is adorable. I've been out of town and came back to this lovely news! Congratulations Jackie, she was the One for you! (And she is extra special 'cos she is an adopted baby and waited patiently for 2 months)
Loads of hugs and wags to you all
