Those are great photos!!!!

JL almost got one the other day. It was dark out and I saw it come out of its hole (stupid when the dog is right there) and run off toward us (also stupid). I was so worried her nose would get bitten so I picked up Jasper but still... stupid gophers! She's not fixated on that yard on our walks.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC QUALITY!!! 🙂 🙂 SPECTACULAR! 🙂 🙂

The eyesight of Gophers is so bad, I'm guessing Baby Gopher just thinks he's seeing his mamma Gopher!

Nah, he won't attack bite Elly, he'll just duck and dig! They really aren't aggessive animal beings at all. Fleeing into their hole is their defense.

A d from the looks of allnof Elly's ohotos, it just like she wa ts to be his friend maybe.....or not! 🙂

The pictures really are stupendous. I love how the grasses frame her face.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

These are fabulous pictures. Just amazing! Did you put the camera down the gopher hole? And the light is so good too. Just great. Look at her whiskers bristling!

I love them!!!

When we had a ground hog living under out deck, it scratched Cassie on the nose once!  It was trying to get back into the yard from the park, coming over the fence so she stood up (of course!) & it scratcher her, came over & ran fast around the pool to get back under the deck!  I couldn't believe that the fat thing could out-run the dogs lol

'I have tunnels in THEIR yard now' 🙂 🙂 🙂

Manni grew up in a horse barn where we also had Jack Russel terriers who were fantastic at catching the occasional rats. Manni wanted to try it, too of course. -We ended up going to the emergency vet at midnight because he got bitten in the nose by the rat...
