Today as I am packing to leave for a trip into the high country in Arizona where we will celebrate Thanksgiving I have to stop and reflect this past year. We have been so blessed this year, with so many things. Last year at this time we were almost ready to celebrate Tasha's 2 month ampuversary and so afraid of what lay ahead for us. Today I give many thanks that we will all be together to celebrate another Thanksgiving. We are nearing Tasha's 14 month ampuversary for this we give many thanks. I give such a big THANKS to all of you for your continued support of Tasha, for celebrating each ampuversary with her even though some of you have lost your pups you have strength to celebrate with us that are still fighting. I give you many Thanks.

OfflineTasha is a beautiful girl. We are thankful to be able to share these 14 months with you as well. Each month one of our darlings celebrates is a gift for our tripawd friends and their caregivers. 14 months is truly amazing. I remember being at the same place last year. I could hardly believe we had made it that year, and were celebrating with another turkey for Trouble.
You and Tasha have a wonderful Thanksgiving in the high country. You deserve it.

Jo Ann & Tasha,
We are so very happy that you will be able to spend Thanksgiving together and that a 14 month ampuversary is so very near. Two years ago, our Thanksgiving was turned upside down with Cherry's diagnosis and amputation just days before. We had volunteered to help at a local Thanksgiving dinner before Cherry's diagnosis, so we had to make some adjustments to assure that she would not be left alone during the first days following the amputation. On that particular day, my Thanksgiving feast consisted of Corn Flakes, but having my little girl with me made it every bit as special as if I had all the normal feast goodies. Thus, it is the feeling and the warmth of family that make Thanksgiving and we want to wish you and all our Tripawd friends a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

OfflineSuch a beautiful girl and so happy that you're now celebrating 14 months - just awesome!!!  Mackenzie's a month behind Tasha so it gives me so much hope and encouragement when I read about Tasha.   So wonderful!!   I will be celebrating right with you - wasn't sure I'd see this next Turkey day either and here we are.  Have a very happy Thanksgiving too! Whoo hoo - 14 months!!

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!

She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Woo hoo, Tasha! We are thankful for you - you've been one of our heros through the last 11 months! You look pawsome!
Hugs, and best wishes for a very happy Thanksgiving!

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end.  On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
