Just wanted to share these two articles that came through my news feed today!

by Jill's Onco, Choosing a Veterinary Hospital:

by Norah's Onco, in her series which she is currently writing about OSA:

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Thanks for passing these on.

Iteresting take on all the "tests" available and whether they ore that effective. Also her take on amputation even if lung metasis shows up in xray if "patient" is sympton free. I was told xray would be done at surgery and if anything showed up they wouldn't operate. How sad that still seems to be the trend.....maybe?

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Thanks Erica, these articles are both great but the one by Dr. Intile is especially informative, especially for members here. Highly recommended!
