I love it!!! and Porthos is Mr August! which is my birthday.
Ive already ordered 3! and will order some more for my friends and family.
I love the caption it is sooooo him!
In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.
Ive always said he is such a dog! before anything else (even though my husband and I do have 'speak like Porthos days'! which sounds like scooby doo! though secretly I think he would sound more like Bing Crosby!)
I love that we will get to see everyone else furbabies during the year, it brings a real sense of the wonderful community on this forum.
Thank you! its made my day.
Amanda & Porthos
Angel Porthos, Pyrenean Mastiff, 7 years old Os front right leg, DX 18 May 2012, Amputation 14 June 2012, Hip Dysplasia, Two TPLO surgeries. Is now somewhere over the rainbow, 21 November 2013.
I totally agree with Amanda!! What a wonderful way to spotlight our magnificent tripawds-I love being able to see so many of the furbabies I've heard about. A shout out for Ms. March, my beautiful Lily. We are soooooo blessed to be a part of this amazing and supportive community!! You made my day, also.
Joan and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Just made my order! Thank you Jim and Rene!!
Tracy & Maggie
Maggie was amputated for soft tissue sarcoma 10-20-09
Maggie lost her battle with kidney disease on 8-24-13
No, thank you all for sharing your photos and helping to make this community the wonderful resource it has become. For anyone who hasn't seen them yet, here is the link to the 2013 Tripawds Calendars announcement.

Wookie, you are most certainly not the only one who cried. I sobbed so hard that my husband came over to see what what wrong - and then he teared-up. But, in a good way.
It really caught us by surprise and we are humbled that Tripawds saw fit to include our baby. Thank you, Jim and Rene, for all that you do. There is a very special place for you guys in the hearts of many.
Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

Yes, it is very special to have our beloved dogs in the Tripawds calendar. Thank you so much Jim and Rene for including Magnum. Like Porthos, she falls in my birthday month! And I can't wait to get some calendars for the wonderful vets who helped her through her journey.
Karen
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. My beloved heart dog, see her memoirs from Rainbow Bridge ...... http://princess.....pawds.com/
So many choices I don't know which one to get! These are all wonderful and I'm leaning towards the one with Ms. Magnum as June...Karen its also my and Lupe's birthday month (woo hoo for June babies) and the month Lupe became my forever angel.
These are both inspirational and beautiful...thank you Rene and Jim!!!

We got our calendars yesterday, and couldn't be happier... they look AWESOME! My Christmas shopping is done!

Just a quick question, the planners I ordered are called 'Now' preview book, is this what I will receive or was I supposed to create my own photos?
I really liked the preview one with all the different photos of the Tripawd community (and of course Porthos!)
Thank you!

"Preview Book" will not appear on the cover, that's just on the thumbnail image.
Users can preview all pages in the Tripawds Blurb bookstore OR see how easy it is to create your own book here.
Thank you!
