I wanted to share a picture of the beautiful memorial stone that arrived at the house today…. this is a large and beautiful tribute to Cooper, someone put a great deal of thought and effort into it, and it is just so lovely, The picture doesnt do it justice, it is not a little plastic thing, it is a large smoothly polished stone and so lovely! I only wish there had been a card or note so proper thanks could be given out, thank you from the bottom of our heart whoever did this…

It's so beautiful! KaCee and Kurt are amazing.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Wow! I can only imagine how moving this was for you when you opened it up, because it made me cry… That is so beautiful!

What a beautiful remembrance of a beautiful boy!
All the best,

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
I am really blown away by the wonderful people we have here. That is a priceless gift, one that will last probably long after all of us are gone. Someone can come along and read that and wonder about Cooper and know that he was very loved.
Touching! Beautiful! You are all so special, and I am glad to know you all 🙂
Cooper is in my prayers today, just sending him a mental picture of how much people love him and his family.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
So beautiful, so appropriate. Not only will it be a reminder of Coop, it will be a reminder of Tripawds - who else would know what an AMBF leader is!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
I also am thankful that I found this community. What a truly remarkable band of people we have here! Sometimes we are the walking wounded; sometimes the eternally grateful; sometimes the ones who need comforting; sometimes the ones who provide comfort. And most of the time we are some or all of the above all at the same time. While creating this gift of love, Kurt and KaCee were going through their own loss. We often help ourselves through helping others. I imagine this provided peace for more than one family.
I hope someone loves me enough when I'm gone to make a stone for me that's half this cool. Sooper Cooper--do you see this? You are so special, buddy.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/
It's gorgeous and such a sweet gesture! what a great community of people this place is. I am so happy I stumbled on this website when I did 🙂
