I have laughed and laughed about this, so I thought I would share.
Trouble ALWAYS wears her Ruff Wear harness when she goes to the vet. I need it to help her in and out of the vehicle, and it lets me help her on the tile floor. When I picked her up on Wednesday, one of the young assistants walked out to the car with me to help me carry medications. I opened the back of the SUV and firmly grabbed the harness handle with one hand and scooped Trouble up with the other arm to lift her into the vehicle.
This yound girl got that 'lightbulb just came on' look and exclaimed "Now I get it! I didn't know what the handle was for!"

Thanks for demonstrating the harness for us!

I love the people at the vet's office.
When I took Mousie back to the vet to get her stitches removed, they carried her off to the back. Since the previous visit was to remove her leg, I think Mousie was super stressed thinking that something else was going to come off (ear, front leg etc..).
Mousie dropped a steady stream of nuggets all the way to the back. As a grand finale, she peed.
The entire staff in the back room bursted out in a roar of laughter. i could hear them cracking up.
Poor baby literally had the 'crap' scared out of her.
The quest for world domination continues on three legs. Comply minions!

Poor little Mousie. I hope she isn't afraid from now on.

Shanna,
That's so funny & reminds me of what happened when Isabelle had surgery last week. I brought her PowerPaws socks & asked them to put them on, so she wouldn't slip, especially because her arthritis would make her stiff after being immobile, on top of the anesthesia & slippery floors. I reminded them again, on the phone before she was awake. I got a call later that evening about something else & the tech said she didn't want me to worry, she put warm blankets on Isabelle's paws, so they wouldn't be cold

They must think we are looney toons! But they are willing to do what ever necessary to comply!

I needed this laugh!
Mousie's mom - I can so relate! Comet has left a lot of her DNA at the vets (and even Petsmart)! The good news, it saved them extra work when it came time for fece samples!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Hahahah! What great stories! I get a lot of comments about Chloe's harness when I go out and have her in it. People seem to think the handle is a cool idea. I know it is easy for me to get her in the car now1
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Hahaha - that is crazy - did they think it was just a jacket to keep Trouble warm or something?
Zack, King of Dogs, 1996 to 2010
Zack lived a full 14 years, even to the end.
The joy and memories he provided us will last a lifetime.
Surviving him is his sister, Izzy, a 12-year-old boxer mix quadpawd.
And the latest addition, Zula, an 11-month-old pit bull mix tripawd.
