Hi everyone!!
I'm looking for a stroller for Tyson. He is an 80 pound, three-legged lab, and I'd like to be able to take him around further since he gets too tired to go for long walks. I've looked at the products on the site, and I'm not sure which one is best. Could someone recommend a good stroller for Tyson??
We tried to order the Solvit stroller, but we accidentally got the bike trailer. Would it be worth it to get the actual stroller? Has anyone tried this out?
Thanks!!
Anna and Tyson
Anna, Tyson is lucky to have a dog mom like you! Have you tried using the advanced search feature in the forums to look for the word "stroller?" There are several folks here who have used them. You might also try searching under "wagon" as well.
Good luck!
Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
Have you seen our stroller recommendations in the Tripawds Gear blog ?
The Solvit Houdabout has a conversion kit for the trailer:

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Here is Daisy in her DoggyRide Jogger Stroller. She weighs about 80 lbs. I will say the only drawback for me is the difficulty I have pushing her uphill in the thing. But that's not really stroller's fault-I'm just a weakling. It is large enough for her to lay down if she wants. She is a little fearful of it and won't get in on her own (I have to lift all 80 lbs. of her into it) but gets over that once we get going.
