Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
OK!Well I guess Emalee is a Monkey Butt then! She is a 9 1/2 year old Red Doberman with docked tail and natural ears. She is a sweetie!! She is the very best listener ever and wants to always be near me. She does like her personal space though but she still follows me everywhere. Today she went with me to Petsmart and to do all of my errands. She just loves rides in the car. She just got her teeth cleaned at the vet and we went shopping for some new Doggie toothpaste. She turned her head away when I asked her which kind she wanted so I had to pick the kind. I picked the beef flavored mint scented kind. We don't want her breath getting stinky anymore! I don't think she wants anything to do with the teeth brushing!! Emalee just got all of her yearly shots and I gave her a bath, cut her nails and cleaned her ears. I think she is ready for me to leave her alone. I will post some pics of Miss Emalee when I get a chance. I have to refresh my memory about how to do it.And also I wanted to show some puppy pics of Valentina. Gotta go be Mommy to the people kids now. Bye!
