So Elsie and Meg would like to institute an annual (okay, weekly...) Spaghetti Eating Contest. They made a short video to launch it, but would like to stress that this is NOT their final entry, just a practice run, and there will be many practice runs, they assure me, and they will eat lots of spaghetti. To be honest, this is just as well, as the production quality is AWFUL, for which, apologies. It was all rather chaotic, and apologies too for the radio, which is on in the background. In all the excitement, I forgot to turn it off, and I didn't want to lose the sound or you would also lose those lovely slurping noises. Please post your entires below... (Tripawds on a grain free diet may, of course, substitute an alternative for the spaghetti)
Ruby, Staffy, born June 2022, became a Tripawd, November 2023, adopted January 2024.
Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Elsie Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...
SLURP, SLURP, YUM, YUM!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Oh my goodness! A spaghetti eating contest!! 🙂
Only Meg and Clare could come up with that!!! Meg is sitting so pretty! And Elsie Pie....well....Elsie Pie is just...hmmm...just Elsie Pie! 🙂 🙂 Truly, such adorable dogs! I do believe Meg wins the "DAINTY, GOOD TO THE LAST DROP" Award...so far! 🙂

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
This is so awesome!!! We are a gluten free house but I am sure we can find some rice pasta to play along with! 🙂Â
Or perhaps because we are basically no carb here... we could do that with carrot spirals! LOLÂ
Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Okay Meg and Elsie Pie, this is a video a year ago showing that Frankie and Merry Myrtle were practicing for the contest even back then! Clearly, they need to improve on tneir technique if they are going to be serious contenders.
Frankie, Myrtle, have you seen my spaghetti,?:

P.S. Wyatt Ray is SO jealous and wishes he didn't have to eat that stupid rx diet so he could play too.

It's ok, Wyatt. Â I am keeping this thread a secret from Gator. Â I suspect he can put down a lot of spaghetti!
