Sorry but I'm an obsessive mom and I love to take photos of my girl! AND it also helps me see her progress and assure me she's doing great!!! Even when things are tough on us.
This is short and sweet! Shelby going DOWN the stairs (she's a rear amp)

Shelby this a.m. before I left for work, as you can see, she didn't want to come back inside.
Last night - this is MY bedroom and look who was sleeping on the floor ... she did sleep there for a bit but I guess after lights out and I feel asleep, she left as I found her in the bathroom this a.m. Baby steps ... baby steps!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Damn, she is CUTE!!!
On nice weather days, I have to negotiate with Jackson to come in. He'd prefer to lay out in the sunny-snowy day ALL DAY or roll in the grass (in summer) then be inside. He's gotten a bit more stubborn about it w/in the last year. Is it age? He's "Entitled"? Is it amp related? Dunno. Regardless, I have now changed my mindset to: OK, if it's that pleasant outside and J wants to be outside, I'm gonna stop and smell the roses too!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
