Wow its hard to believe we have completed 3 months of our metronomics protocol and starting the dosage for 4 months. Blood work came back great as preliminary we always send the CBC stuff out and get that back at the first of the week for all the fasting blood work. There wasn't any blood in the urine which is great. Lungs still sound clear. White cell count was a little elevated but we did a blood smear slide to look at the cells. Dr Boyer said there is no indication of any other bad things going on and she believes that the white cell count being elevated is due to having the mets.
I decided not to do anymore xrays as we know we have the mets and she isn't showing any signs of really having them other than tired when its warm & humid. We are continuing as we have been other than her mom trying really hard to get some other food into than the hamburger, goats milk & yogurt diet that we have been on. She hasn't lost any weight on it which is good infact has gained a few pounds which means she is getting enough to eat. I am just worried that it doesn't have all the nutritional value it needs so we went through our dog cookbook and going to the store and trying some more recipes to see what she will eat
Bosch also had an appointment to follow up on his problems. and no blood in his urine which is good. So all in all a great day for us

Such great news! You go girl! I'm confident you'll find a recipe that will have her licking the bowl. Sweet picture...I just want to hug her.

Joan and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
