Ok, so I have spent a week trying the different techniques. The food on the floor thing was a hit with Sammy and Titan! The only problem was the ran over afterward to have me do it again. And if one found the food the other was upset he didn't find it. It maybe a game that I have to do one on one.
I have tried to firm up with Sammy, ignoring the sad whimpers. It has been VERY hard, but I have been consistent. It is getting a little better, I see some improvement. He now is trying to trip me, doing little S curves in front of me when I am trying to walk away from his cries. Hop, cry, hop, cry.. trip. So then I turn the other way and stare at the wall. He is getting quieter quicker. Improvement right?
I take him to see Dr. Pam in a couple of hours for a check up, that should help ease my mind about any real or imaginary fears 🙂

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
