Just wanted to share this video I made of Ruby’s walk today. She’s been with me two months now and is a constant source of joy.
Ruby, Staffy, born June 2022, became a Tripawd, November 2023, adopted January 2024.
Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Elsie Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...
Aw Clare!
She looks sooooooo good! Strong and balanced- you've done great work with her.
Karen and the Spirit Pug Girls and Boy
Tri-pug Maggie survived a 4.5 year mast cell cancer battle only to be lost to oral melanoma.
1999 to 2010
Thank you SO much, Karen. I’m delighted you think so. For various reasons we still haven’t been able to see a physio, though we do now have an appointment for a few weeks time and she is seeing the fabulous rehab vet/chiropractor tomorrow who was wonderful with Meg in her final days. I have as you know been doing a lot of work with her on her core strength, balance, proprioception and I’m so pleased you think it’s paying off. I really appreciate your input xxx

WOW!!! Seeing Ruby estaticly running, rolling, jumping over branches and twigs TRULY has made me smile....truly Clare!
The music matches her joy perfectly as she runs and keeps the Vet with her gait.....soooo darn cute!! You have done a splendid job of selecting the Happy music to the match her energy.😎.
Looks like she's becoming an impressive " water dog". Do you think she will eventually want to swim after a ball or stick, or just enjoy being a wader?
I'll always remember the video you put together of Meg immersing herself in the joy of chasing/swimming after her green ball. The best way I can describe the music is sort of a Charlue Chaplin silent movie music.
The speed with which she runs and the way she's so happily runs towards you voice is such a joy to watch.
If I didn't know she was a tripod there was no way I would notice that she was missing a leg. She runs so effortlessly as though her paws paws barely touch the ground
Thanks so much for posting such a fun video. Ruby is proof how happy dogs can be on three and how the love and devotion you have shown this rescue can heal her mentally and physically literally in a matter of days. No one could give Ruby such a perfect home as you have. Truly, a match destined to happen.
With love
