Riley seriously doesn't understand what all the fuss is about. Babies smell funny. Taste funny; have no teeth; can't walk or play with balls, and make a lot of funny noises. Nonetheless, unflappable Riley is proud to announce his mom is a grandma. Baby Maia was born on August 22, weighed in at 8 lbs. 10 ozs.
We know Catie is very proud too.
Catie -
Birthday – November 4 2003
Amputation – January 13 2010
Crossed the Bridge – June 2 2011
Baby Maia welcome to tripawds! You may be our youngest member but you are most precious!
Riley, you'll learn that the little human ones are great for watching over and then they grow up to throw balls, toys and all the fun stuff you like!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Congratulations, Carmen! This is awesome news, and so welcome right now! New life, even furless and toothless, is just what we need!
Riley, Ge'Lena is right. Maia will soon be helping you with your toys. Before that point, though, she will start to drop tasty things on the floor and you will be a vacuum cleaner. Give her about 6 months. You'll see then just how useful she is!
Congratulations again to the whole family, Carmen!

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/
Awwwww! Congratulations Carmen, that is wonderful!
Riley, Baby Maia will be your best friend before long, just you wait. Have fun!

Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Oh just wait Riley…
Babies go through a dog phase- crawling on all 4s, chewing on everything. And pretty soon- just like everyone else said- they start showering you with food. Some of it is a little questionable- but its free!!
Congratulations Carmen- a reason to celebrate!

Congrats, Carmen! Riley, you will discover, just like Chili Dawg and Finchy did, that the best place to sit and lay down is at the foot of the high chair, the booster seat, and then eventually the chair. All sorts of special treats will magically fall to you and you will get to gobble them up- you're going to LOVE it!

Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.
