When we joined the Tripawd family on December 30th there were 5615 members. Today, just 28 days later, there are 5715 members. Wow. That's both wonderful and sad. Wonderful that so many people have found this caring support group (THANK YOU JERRY!!), but sad because far too many doggies are suffering from crappy diseases and tragic situations.
Claudia
Claudia we agree with you 100 pawcent, couldn't have said it better ourselves. While many of those who register don't post in the blogs or forums, the fact that they registered means they were still researching this kind of information, which lets you know they are in a very scary place. I feel for them.
And you're so welcome but it's you, and everyone here, who makes it such a great group. Thank YOU.

Dittto you two, ditto!
At least they know we are here and, hopefully, that can help take some of the fear away.
Hugs to all!
Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Agree - this place has been a lifeline for me so thank you Jerry, Rene, admins and all those that post for helping me see silver linings each and every day.
While no one wants to be a part of this family, I feel blessed to be a part of this caring and compassionate community and one that understands the best what we are going through - as scary as it is. There is something so calming about posting here and getting a response. Soothing almost!
Thank you all for being you!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
