Oh no, I just posted a bunch of mindless banter under "Fortis' Update" Sorry. Please move Admin.

Cricket noises….LOL

Here's your mindless banter:

I'm at least 20 years from this unspeakable decade. If possible though I would really appreciate an age waiver. I'm really mature for my age and feel I have a lot to contribute to this club. After all I watched every minute of Watergate!
Here is a word problem for you guys: Is Fortis' Dad eligible for admittance into the 50+ club?

The "Watergate Scandal" aired on TV the summer of 1973. Fortis' Dad watched virtually every minute of all 319 televised hours of the scandal on live TV. He was confined to his grandparent's house due to suffering from mononucleosis and thus missing the entire baseball season. The average age of infection in the U.S. is 13-18 years of age.

Extra Credit: Is he old enough to warrant a trip to the chiropractor/acupuncturist  big-grin

you'll have to move parts of every one of my topics (cricket cricket)

OKAY< I HAVE ONE....have been sleeping with the stuffed kitty (shut up) and this morning found myself patting its head and taking the head in my hand and as i'm reading the paper i'm like poking my cheek with its nose.  So I think it might be time to put out kitty feelers.  I can't bring another dog home now (I did look into a husky that kept showing up in paper and was older) because that wouldn't be fair...but I just discovered that one of the vets fosters kitties of all ages and they live with her dog til she finds them homes....and cats would walk up to Magic back before surgery...strange cats.  So I think I may be adding a cat or two...I don't think it will disturb our routine to get a HEALTHY kitty and I'm very excited...I haven't had any healthy pets for about five years and I've gone from five animals to one....I just don't know older or kitten or one of one now and one of the other later...i just don't know...but it is something to look forward to...and I actually think Magic might get a kick out of it....since he hasn't had OJ to hump for a couple of weeks now...and I actually still have cat beds around and JUST took the cat food to my mom...so there ya go...off topic

doctor is bringing a selection Sunday at 2 pm.... she has little ones not ready to leave, kittens, adolescents and a five year old!!  I want one of something NOW then I will get some more later....hopefully this batch of kitties will LIKE each other...my last three didn't...and lived together for 15 years before they started going to the bridge.

She has six cats of her own and a standard poodle that is 2 (shout out to Miss Cherry's Dad!!) and goofy she says and loves everybody and everything....some of the littlier kitties haven't done the dog thing yet but the others all have.  She won't tell me, won't tell friends and won't tell her FAMILY how many rescues she has!!  She made reference at one point to "the kittens in the bathroom" and the picture in my mind is every room in her house has kittens swinging from the lights!!  She said when you foster you have to really be able to draw the line between MINE and FOSTER GOING TO HOME....therein MIGHT lie my problem...I already warned my neighbors NOT to worry when I turn into the cat lady of Marsh Court...until the smell gets really bad ... hope they remember that

I don't know Peter Lupus....i thought maybe George Clooney....WAIT WAIT>..he said the "average" age....how do we know he didn't get it sooner or later....maybe that is a false clue...I still want to know which one is the unspeakable decade...if I don't know that i have no starting point...is it 60  or 50....they get more speakable as you get there!

Whoa. I too want to know what the unspeakable decade is too so I know if I'm there or not and then I don't ever have to tell my age to anyone again.

Actually, I think my diminishing height might be a clue. Most of my life I'm sure I was 5'9" until they measured my height a few years ago at an annual checkup and wrote down I was 5'8". I demanded a new measurement. How could I lose an entire inch? Maybe it's in the house somewhere with all the other important things I've put in safe places...meaning such safe places I can't find them again. Ever.

Crickey. At this rate in a few years I'll need a booster chair to eat at the kitchen table.

Kittens swinging from lights. LOL.

I've heard about not remembering a decade, but not an unspeakable one, I need some help with that one also. I'll bet your the same height carmenmcconnell, you just wore a higher hair style back then. I NEVER ask a lady how old she is, I just ask her what year she graduated from high school. Sorry, who is Peter Lupus

My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010

Just so you will know…..that is called "The Away Place", as in I put it 'away'.

I might also add that putting things in the away place is not always a good thing - it seems like a good thing when you put them there, just not so good when you go back to get them and come up empty handed. LOL

Speaking of what year did you graduate, Facebook is a wonderful thing.  I discovered a couple of weeks ago I was five years younger than I thought.

I was reading through a friend's profile (someone I went from 1st grade through graduation with) and discovered he was born 5 years later than me.  Since I know for sure we went to school together all those years, I have to assume my age was incorrect.  So now, I'm not 50 yet!

Isn't it funny what folks will do?
