So, I recently sent an email to Jerry (Rene) asking about the term Tripawd Pawty...I asked, "shouldn't it be PAWRTY not PAWTY? PAWTY sounds like POTTY...there's an R in PARTY" She, of course, got a chuckle out of my comment and said, "we've just always spelled it pawty, never thought about it before". She then suggested putting out to you guys, so my question to you all is what do you think? Should we change the word PAWTY to PAWRTY?
Cheers,
Teena

Please keep in mind that any changes to the word "pawty" would necessitate a convening of the global committee for the Official Tripawds Dictionary.

I vote for "Pawty" How do you even pronounce "Pawrty"?
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Agree with Amy! I can't even pronounce Pawrty. Also, As a New Yorker, I pronounce "Party" "Pawty" anyway! "Potty" is more like how a Bostonian would say "Party" or "Pawty" me thinks........
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. "Like" Jill's facebook page: https://www.fac.....tty?ref=hl Proud member of the WINTER WARRIORS!!!! Her blog can be read at http://jillsjou.....ipawds.com. xoxo
I think I'll stay neutral on this one! Icould go either way although all my dogs are "pawty" dogs due to the amount of time they seem to be in the "potty" with their pawrents!
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Thanks everyone for your responses...I guess change is not a possibility so PAWTY it is
As an answer to rica55's question about how to pronounce PAWRTY, it really wouldn't be any different then those of us using PAWRENT...same spelling but with the added W.
Anyhoo, thanks so much everyone
