A situation where there are no clear answers is a hard one. The only thing you can remind yourself is ecery path you have taken since amputation is guided by love.
Sort of "reading between the lines", it seems that you would second guess yourself if you didn't try this approach. So write down al the reasons you are doing this and how you would feel if you didn't. What are the reasons not to do it? What are the reasons to do this?
Make sure all yoir square answered. If they take it part of the lung, what does recocery look like? What does quality look like? What happens if you do nothing? What does recovery look like if it is in the lining? Quality? Chance of recurrence?
As Karen (Krun) always advises, basic make ampro/con list. Why y7ou decided whichever approach you take.
I know you've already covered all your bases, just thou I's throw that process out to you.
Continued prayers and pawsitive energy to sweet Kaiserin 💖

Well the patient made it through the surgery and is at home recovering. She is doing really well! She is alert and happy and trying to play and do things when she is supposed to take it easy. She is eating well and the incision is only barely 6 inches (when they told me it would be much larger). The only bad news so far is they did not seem to get wide enough margins. Something about some tissue attached to the vessel of her heart that could not safely be removed. So something was left behind. And they still do not know what this lung mass was but are assuming cancer. The pathology report will answer all this but we are trying not to worry about that now and just focus on recovery and be happy she is still her happy lovely self. Our goal today is to find fun stuff to do that doesn't require any drastic movements that would stretch the incision - so I think it will be a bit of scentwork, some painting (we need to get some more artwork done for our etsy shop) and some cute photos for instagram! Thank to for all your prayers and support! ❤️
Yay for Kaiserin! It's fantastic that she is home and recovering so well. I know painting was one of the tricks in the video you shared, but it would be cool to see her actually creating her artwork! Sending hugs from NYC! ~ Stacy
Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com
Glad she is recovering comfortably ❤ I bet her bro is happy to have her home too!
Sending you all hugs and continued prayers💛💛💛💛💛

YAY! That is so so so wonderful, you made my Monday. All is right with the world, Kaiserin is on the mend! 🙂
Stay pawsitive and keep up that fantastic attitude. You're so right; no need to fret about the path report right now, wait till you get the results and then make a plan, it's so much better than panic mode. Focus on the here and now, it's what she and Shultz want, every single day.
Keeping her occupied shouldn't be too much of an issue, you and the pups already participate in so many fun activities together!
And Stacy, ask and ye shall receive!

Soooooo relieved to get this update!!! Sooooo relieved!!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏Somet when we don't hear back for a few days, it may not be good....and sometimes it is!! Yay for good!!!
Do say you have left no stone unturned in Kaiserin's care is an understatement!!! You have gone above and beyond what most of us would either be avle and willing to do. Jist so thrilled she is doing so well and, at least most of that "thing" is gone now.
Yes, we would, love to see more artwork!!😎

We are thinking and praying for you...
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!
