I just saw an Instagram post that our Kaiserin is not well. Many here know of this talented tripawd pup and she needs our prayers now. She was not feeling well and went to the doctor for a cough. They did chest rads and found a mass in her chest that is bleeding.

Oh Kaiserin. So sorry to hear this. You are the most talented dog that I have ever read about on three legs and four. I rember the warm welcome you gave Brownie and I when we first joined this community.
Just remember you have a mom that loves you dearly! You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

Thank you so much for all your prayers and positive energy! It seemed like there was some kind of miracle that stopped the bleeding and let her survive the night! We actually thought we were saying goodbye on monday at midnight when we had to leave the hospital. They were saying she may need a blood transfusion but never did. We still aren't out of the woods yet and still at risk of another bleed but she has been stable since tuesday. They cannot find any other cancer anywhere in her body (after ultrasound, CT scan and several physical exams). She just has this kind of mysterious lung mass. They said it looks a bit odd with a fluid centre and circle around the outside - not what they were expecting to see on the CT scan. They cannot biopsy it because they believe that will cause another bleed. So her only chance is to remove the mass. They tell me she will likely qualify for a less invasive procedure where they can put two small cameras in to examine and locate the mass and then do a third incision to remove the mass. It is much less invasive than cutting directly into the chest cavity. So we find out more information on monday and could maybe do the surgery on wednesday. They tell me she did really well under the general anesthetic for the CT scan yesterday. They say she is strong and obviously all surgery has risks but they predict a good outcome at this point. I would love to hear from anyone who has had any kind of lung surgery or lung tumor removal on their dog. I think i will post in the oncology section too.......and thanks again, your thoughts are appreciated more than you can ever know. I love this dog more than anything and this has been a horrible stressful week but i see there may be hope!
