Do any of you follow cycling? I am a HUGE fan of the Tour de France
Sure, but the Tour de Fat is more our speed!

Sorry about the bad news, that sucks Hang in there and enjoy Abby. We just voted for her, and Chili Dawg wanted to know who the "hot tripawd lifeguard" was! Praying for you guys!
Diagnosed with OSA: 5/2/2011 Ampuversary: 5/11/2011 OSA returned in hip: 8/26/2011
Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.
Jackie says: "Thanks again everyone for the support and the votes. We went to Fiesta Island this morning and she ran and played for an hour. She didn't want to come home - probably could have gone for another hour. Then, after breakfast, she had a cookie. Going to be a lot more cookies in her future! And we are for sure taking her to In-N-Out for a Dutchman this weekend.
Speaking of the voting... when we left for the beach, she was at like 175 votes. I came home and she was over 800! I thought, 'oh! There's been this huge out-pouring of love for my baby!!' Nope - turns out her dad discovered a glitch. The one vote/hour thing seems to have gone on the fritz so he just sat there hitting the vote button over and over again while on a conference call at work! LOL. He's been testing the system for weaknesses for 2 days now - just like the velociraptors tested the fence in Jurassic Park, hee hee. He finally found the weakness! Hopefully they don't DQ us out of the competition! I don't even care if we 'win' - I just want to see my pretty girl in the paper!"
Abby says: "As for the lung mints, well, I don't even know what the big deal is. And if I did catch them from Coop, well, that's OK with me, cuz Coop's my buddy. And I wouldn't even mind getting his cooties! I know how you stupid Monkeybutt dogs work - always trying to drive a wedge between us Tripawd pals. Well, you're just going to have to bark up some other tree! Hah!
Oh, and hey, Chili... I think your super cute too! kisses! In fact, this one's for you big guy.... a little picture my mom drew of me. I'm bringing sexy back to this three legged thing!"
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
We keep looking at that image and thinking about how awesome it might be on t-shirts and gifts in the Tripawds Gift Shop!
If you're interested in letting us use the image send a high-resolution image. We would of course give full credit to Abby. The only thing it seems to be missing is a catchy title we could put beneath it.

That would be cool! I'll send you the original. I have a pretty amusing family. I will see if I can tap into them to help come up with a catchy title to go with. Or do any of y'all have any ideas?? "You don't need 4 legs to be sexy!" is all I can think of at that moment... But I'll ponder it. Maybe something about belly rubs??

ummmm, "Tripawds give you more room to rub", "I'm too sexy for my leg", "Tripawds know how to chill".....
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

"I'm too sexy for my leg"
Funny!

Sorry Abby, you gotta watch out for those admin people! (I think they like to do the chug-a-lug. – You know what I mean? wink, wink)
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
That link seems to go to the wrong dog... This one should go to her. Hope this works:
