I was reading a book about cancer and dogs and cats. They were suggesting getting air purifying plants for the house which in my opinion should be done no matter what. Any of you have a green thumb?
I have lots (4 big plants) of devil's ivy, a geranium, christmas cactus, a few african violets, 3 sanseveria, 1 pony tail, 1 money tree and 2 that I don't know the name. I think I'm good!
What do you have?

My Momma loves plants but the doghouse on wheels is too small to carry them around. But when we had a stick house, we had lots and lots of indoor plants because we lived in the city and didn't have much of a yard. I can't tell you the names of the ones we had though, but it was a lot!
Plants are good. OH, just be sure that the ones you have aren't toxic to dawgs.

Mama had a plant once. It died. She tried with a new plant. It died. Now she has lots of 'flower arrangements' but none are real. I think somebody amputated her green thumb....
Angel Zeusy
Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

Oh boy Angel Zeusy. I thought my mum had the worst green thumb but yours sounds like she gets the prize. Mum has 2 indoor plants that have survived for over 8 years "somehow" and a "lucky" bamboo plant that regularly gets replaced because it dies. They only get water when they start drooping all over the floor. That's the sum total of her care. All other plants she has been given as presents have died except a cactus. Has your mum tried a cactus?
Spirit Magnum
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle.
